I have two young children: Lily (3) and Hannah (12 months). I have been through what you’re going through. I have been up at 2am, 3am and 4am night after night with a crying baby, debating whether I should nurse my baby back to sleep or bring her into my bed — choosing to simply survive another night. I’ve been through difficult bedtimes, unbelievably short naps, purple crying, night terrors, demands for more water and hugs and potty breaks. I also know what it’s like to have children who sleep great, which means my partner and I get a good night’s sleep too and can be better parents during the day.

I’m intrigued by the idea of raising children as whole people, supporting and guiding them to be healthy and happy individuals. One of the most important skills children need to thrive is the ability to put themselves to sleep independently. I recognize the importance of sleep, not just for babies and children, but for everyone. As a Child Sleep Consultant, I am excited to share my knowledge about the science of sleep with families that need help, education, and most of all, support.

Working with Sleepwell Baby means I am part of a team of highly experienced, knowledgeable and accessible consultants. Learning is ongoing as we share experiences and information, collaborating to bring the best results for our clients. Each family we work with benefits from the team’s shared knowledge, leading to highly customized sleep plans. Sleepwell Baby is a pioneer in the industry. It does that by staying on top of the science of sleep and sharing that information across a variety of mediums to reach more people.

I spend most of my time with Lily and Hannah, and with my husband Mitch. We enjoy being outside — hiking, going to the beach and relaxing in our backyard. For leisure, I mountain bike, crochet, read, bake and practise yoga. I also teach yoga and spend a good part of the year planning an annual yoga retreat.
