Daxton is 16 months old. From day one he was a very light sleeper and napper. From 8 to 12 months he woke up most nights and stayed up for at least 2 hours, usually 3am to 5am, then up at 7am. After 12 months he started sleeping a few nights without waking up, but would usually be up really early. Probably doing an average of 4 nights without waking, but then would resort back to about a 4 to 7 day stretch of the wakings and staying up for 2 to 3 hours each night. With going back to work this started to get really difficult to be so sleep deprived. The first night we followed the sleep plan he slept for 13 and 1/2 hours straight. We could not believe it, and especially that he did it without a bottle or his soother. He is doing very well on the program, when he does wake we know how to handle it. He is also cutting all 4 eye teeth, so I am confident that when those are fully through that night wakings will be minimal. I am so glad we helped Daxton learn how to fall and stay asleep on his own. He looks forward to nap/bedtime.
